Joe Goldberg, AIF®, CRPS
Director of Retirement Plan Services
When he joined the firm in 2001, Joe Goldberg was an intern and fact-checker. Within months, he found a niche for himself and today serves as BAM Advisor Services’ Director of Retirement Plan Services.
As such, Joe assists BAM ALLIANCE member firms to enhance their clients’ retirement plans by improving investment options, employee education and plan participation. Joe is part of BAM Advisor Services’ Retirement Plan Services team, which helps advisors at member firms serve participant retirement plans by providing them with turn-key solutions for administering their clients’ retirement plans.
Joe also serves as Director of Business Development for Buckingham, where he helps enlighten investors on the benefits of the firm’s academic-based approach to investing and holistic view of wealth management. This unique role means that Joe serves both advisors and clients, and in a single day can help someone who has $10 million or $10,000 each find solutions appropriate to their circumstance.
Prior to joining BAM Advisor Services, Joe worked as an account executive for a sports marketing firm in New York.
Joe holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver. He is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist.
Active in his community, Joe is on the board of Harris House, a substance abuse treatment and recovery center, as well as College Bound, which provides students from under-resourced backgrounds with academic and social support services.
Joe is married and lives in University City, Mo., with his wife and two daughters.
