President of Buckingham, Executive Marketing Leader for BAM Advisor Services
As President of Buckingham Strategic Wealth and the executive marketing leader for BAM Advisor Services, David Levin helps advance and activate the organization’s central mission of educating, informing and inspiring clients and investors throughout the country.
David’s passion for telling our story is rooted in his own journey from do-it-yourself investor to Buckingham client back in 2010. As a former business owner and primary breadwinner for a family of four, David understands the confidence, assurance and restful nights that can come with having a comprehensive wealth management plan specially tuned to a family’s unique needs and goals.
In his current role, David provides strategic guidance, executive leadership and support related to all external and experiential marketing initiatives for Buckingham and BAM Advisor Services, including the BAM ALLIANCE, the nationally recognized community of over 140 independent firms committed to delivering on the promise of true wealth management. David is a member of the firm’s Board of Managers and Executive Committee.
Prior to joining BAM Advisor Services, David spent more than 20 years building a career exclusively devoted to client service as a management consultant, executive creative director, marketing and leadership communications strategist. As founder of 11 Communications Group, David built an expansive client list of global brands and organizations including MasterCard, Ernst & Young, CME Group, Nintendo, Microsoft, Harris Private Bank, General Electric, Western Union, Volkswagen, Pepsi, Johnson & Johnson, AT&T and McDonald’s.
David’s work has earned coverage in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Fast Company magazine, and he’s appeared on National Public Radio, CNBC and MTV.
David holds degrees in industrial engineering and technical communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He and his wife, Cynthia, are active members of RESULTS, a nonprofit focused on eradicating the causes of extreme poverty. They and their two children live in Town & Country, Mo.
